Two Hawaii Marijuana “Patients” Are In Full Support Of A Dispensaries
Its a good day to me that we all are here to discuss what is needed for our new hopeful future dispensary system. I hope you, we all & the public will only become more educated to help push forward. My thoughts and my partners thoughts are not complicated but wanted to be clear & learn also from today, this future process. I myself am interested in becoming a supplier of Cannabis Butter, Cooking Oils, Baked Goods & Prepared Foods, Edibles… Not everyone can smoke Marijuana or even the oils that can be vaped / smoked, they just can’t smoke & not to mention many have never smoked & nor do they want to start. Some, many disease & conditions will not allow you to smoke either, so. Edibles, Oils, Slaves & Lotions, Prepared Foods, Made Butters & Cooking Oils, Tinctures, Oils Containing more CBD’s then THC or both, & possibly 100’s of other products really need to be available to our patients and public who will need & have been needing products. These products can not also in trust be taken without a system put in place to test there quality & even potency, a labeling system to help protect children etc.. People involved in producing or running dispensaries should have to follow a strict policy for the over all systems quality. I guess the question for the state is do you all do it thru the health department or each facility be required to hire a certified professional or everyone in the system for whatever there role is, be certified yearly by yearly which seems to me the most best answer I myself keep thinking. this system could obviously be a growing boom with in just a few years and create many needed new jobs. I wonder about how you all will deal with these few subjects listed below.
– How will we get seeds, will we be able to safely order them
– Will the state or dispensaries be offering or be able to offer grow shops, education for future growers and ore product producers with in our state.
– Will stores be able to buy clones from growers, patients or order clones from with in state.
– Will product makers who teach be able to charge for there services and or barter with dispensaries and or other patients.
-Will patients from out of state be able to in less then a day get permission to use our dispensaries for there medication while in Hawaii using there card from another state or country.
– Will patients finally be able to securely order out of state products from other legal states. Will you all be putting in place a system that works with other medicinal states.
-Will patients be able to use inter island air lines / shipping to take there dosage prescription to other islands if traveling with in our own state. This also goes for shipping our products to other dispensaries on other islands, will we be allowed if certified and system in place.
– Will the marijuana that is taken by local Hawaii state law enforcement be sold back to dispensaries at cost, thus also helping the state & law enforcement rid its stockpile instead of burning it or whatever means is used.
– How will people qualify for whatever is needed to maintain system, product makers.
-Will our plant patient supply be made higher, more plants so we can help keep up with our local demands and crop.
CBD— is a compound in cannabis that has significant medical effects, but does not make people feel “stoned” and can actually counter the psychoactivity of THC. The reduced psychoactivity of CBD-rich cannabis may make it an appealing treatment option for patients seeking anti-inflammatory, anti-pain, anti-anxiety, anti-psychotic, and/or anti-spasm effects without disconcerting lethargy or dysphoria.
Scientific and clinical studies underscore CBD’s potential as a treatment for a wide range of conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, alcoholism, MS, chronic pain, schizophrenia, PTSD, antibiotic-resistant infections, epilepsy, and other neurological disorders. CBD has demonstrated neuroprotective and neurogenic effects, and its anti-cancer properties are currently being investigated at several academic research centers in the United States and elsewhere.
Below are just a few, but large list of Conditions that should be added to our Hawaii state list of Medical Marijuana Conditions for qualifying new patients and passed who may have been denied.
Prion/Mad Cow disease
Sickle cell anemia
Spinal cord injury
